WILD WEEKEND
Scheduled Aug. 3-5, 2012, the Wildlife Extravaganza will be held at the Trade Mart on the Fairgrounds in Jackson. Show hours are 3 p.m. – 9 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 3rd; 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 4th; and 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 5th. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children aged 6-12; children aged 5 and under are free.
Friday is Kids Day at the Extravaganza where children 12 and under get in free.

Southern Traditional Archery—This is your chance to try your hand at shooting long bows!
Bowfishing Association of Mississippi– Stop by and see what bowfishing is all about and see if you can snag a big one! See the airboat on display!
Animal Meet and Greet—Snakes, alligators and hawks will be roaming the grounds looking to make friends.

Snakes of Mississippi– Join Mississippi’s favorite snake man, Terry Vandeventer, as he introduces the Snakes of Mississippi.
Pellet Shoot—Bring the kids and let them try their hand shooting a pellet gun.
Fetch-N-Fish Fetch Tub—Join Jason Reynolds at the Fetch Tub and watch his high-flying retrievers perform jumps and compete with kids of all ages. It is a show you don’t want to miss!

Archery in Schools— Join MWDFP in the seminar room and let the kids try shooting a compound bow
Handgrabblin' Katfishin' Kids—Bring the kids to the Grabblin' Mississippi Style seminar and let them try the sport firsthand!
Cutest Camo Kids Contest—Dress those kids up in camouflage and join us for fun Sunday, August 5th, at 2 p.m.
